“I have so many things to celebrate in my life, that if I had a glass of champagne for each one, I’d be drunk all the time”
Our social environments are constantly reminding us of the bad, the ugly and the unfortunate. In fact, the media is so good at doing this that we actually FORGET to REMEMBER all the things we should be celebrating!
The other day I was sitting on my patio celebrating an amazing day, and having a fruity and perfectly chilled wine spritzer, and I had a moment of clarity when I realized that if I had a fruity and perfectly chilled wine spritzer every time I felt the need to celebrate something amazing, I would literally get nothing other than celebrating done! Of course this made me smile and chuckle to myself, which in itself is something that always gives me such a sense of pure joy, grounding and contentedness. The bright peach coloured sun and I shared a few moments bathing in this new found joy. So happy to have peaked into that corner of my brain and discovered it, and so happy to now be picturing myself always with a champagne flute in hand, giggling an chuckling with the setting sun.
