I have always had a very up and down relationship with food. When I was a kid I hated it, when I was in university I couldn’t afford it. Once I graduated and started making some real money, I discovered the realm of fancy cheeses and cured meats, then, upon getting diagnosed with CANcer, I dove into the world of raw and vegan foods. And, let me tell yah, this newly discovered world of foods is by far my favourite. Not only does eating bountiful amounts of plant based foods make me feel incredibly energized, but I believe it also helped my body fight the cancer, as well as tolerate the drugs and minimize any side effects. PLUS, the food I eat now is more colourful and more flavourful than any pre-packaged, hot-and-ready “foods” out there!
